From the designer:
This is a custom insert that I have designed to fit your Milwaukee Packout to store your M18 Heat Gun and accompanying kit. It specifically fits the Milwaukee 48228435 PACKOUT Compact Organiser.
I have also designed it so you can pick between having M18 battery storage or another storage tub. There is a file included for a tub that will sit in that opening as seen in the images above.
The specific M18 Heat Gun that this is designed for is model M18BHG-0, link is provide here: https://www.milwaukeetool.com.au/power-tools/speciality-tools/heat-tools/M18BHG-0.html
We now offer latches to identify which tool is in which case. Latches are offered at a discount if purchased with a matching insert and are sold by the pair. Please ignore the mismatched latch picture. If you order latches with this insert, they will say M18 HEAT GUN

Holds everything I need perfectly. Highly recommend and satisfies my OCD.
I am updating my review.
10 Spot responded to my review, and apparently I’m just stupid because my M12 multi tool doesn’t fit because it’s not the fuel version.
So I went back to 10 Spot Tool website, and sure enough the listing does say Fuel.
You know what it doesn’t say, does NOT fit non-Fuel multi tool.
Apparently I should have known that the tools were slightly different, and I do mean slightly.
As you can see from the pics, less than half an inch.
Simple solution, just throw away my M12 multi tool and buy a new Fuel version. No!
I guess I’ll put it on FB marketplace but I’ll make sure any potential buyer is very aware it only fits the Fuel version.
I guess I’ll have to type a couple extra words to make sure I don’t disappoint the next buyer.
Not sure what address you emailed but I have nothing from you in my inbox, spam, or junk.
This insert was designed for the M12 FUEL multi-tool as is clearly stated in the listing from which you purchased it. The tool you are trying to store in the insert is not the FUEL multi-tool, but the brushed version. This is why it doesn't fit.
EDIT: this customer is correct in stating that the listing doesn't say the insert won't fit the brushed M12 multi tool.
Of course, a sane person might think that if the brushed version DID fit, I would include that information in the listing. Unfortunately, we aren't always dealing with sane people.
The reality is, sometimes people are careless. Me personally, when I do something careless and suffer for it, I try to learn from my mistake.
Not this guy, though. He did something careless and then blamed me for it. And when I pointed out his error in blaming me, he went through the trouble of editing his review so he could blame me in a slightly different, more inflammatory way.
Such is life. There will always be hardworking, detail-oriented people like the majority of my customers, and there will always be careless, rude people who make our lives difficult.
