This insert was designed to hold the 1/4" 50-piece chrome socket set 48-22-9004 in low profile packout case 48-22-8436.
It is compatible with non-Milwaukee 1/4" socket sets as well.
It will keep all the sockets tight to the lid so they won't move around as long as the case is closed.
It also includes a large open tray for extra storage.
We now offer latches to identify which tool is in which case. Latches are offered at a discount if purchased with a matching insert. Please ignore the mismatched name in the picture, if you order latches with this insert, they will say 1/4 CHROME on them.
Ratchet area need a little bit more spacing if you are using a non Milwaukee racket. Some of the deep well don’t fit easily. I had to use a slight bit of dremel work to make a couple of the deep well and ratchet to fit and not get stuck
